Veterinary pathogenic bacteria are isolated by standard bacteriological culture methods. For the identification of the pathogens we use an ultra noveltechnique Maldi-tof.
We are able to process most kind of samples (swabs, tissue, boots, eggs, faeces, …) for bacteriology investigation.

We also offer serotyping for E. coli (O1, O2 and O78) and Salmonella (Kauffmann-White scheme).

All relevant strains are stored in the Bacterial Biobank for production of autogenous vaccines and contract research.
